Have you ever
thought of being a columnist in a famous newspaper, and can you write your
opinions freely?
If yes, you need
just have a blog account like mine. But, what do you write; do you have so many
things that deserve sharing with the globe?
If yes, does the
globe read you or at least the people of your country?
No matter! Since
you are not a columnist who is paid by a patron.
Blogs
democraticize the media by providing free participation channels for unknown
and ordinary people to express ideas, knowledge, information, taste, experience
and so forth. More than democratization, they also change professional
journalism into a free and amateur work.
Can you imagine
until now how many creative and intellectual people have missed the opportunity
of becoming Tolstoy, Sartre or a Nobel laureate?
And do you know
how many critical events, ideas; thoughts have been hidden by the current
media?
So-called media of
our day does not communicate and it is not a communication means. It just
produces and circulates information and images for us to consume. It strictly
follows the logic of capital.
Marx had said that
labour did not mean working and Michael Oakeshott commented,
"fishing" is different from "going to fishing".
Like Facebook,
Twitter among the others, the blogs mean democracy and amateurship in
circulating information, idea, image and knowledge.
Maybe you share
many stupid, unnecessary and wrong ideas through your blog. But, some
maybe do not.

Marx teaches us
how to re-appropriate capital and political power and he and more than him it
was Lenin who had pointed out that capitalism
itself prepared the conditions of socialism. For example,
centralization and concentration of capital meant that centrally planned
economy of socialism could be created easily.
Facebook, Twitter,
for instance and mainly blogging do the same in terms of the socialization of
media and communication means.
If so, from now
on, all citizens of the world can be informer, columnist, and writer, executive
director without needing the Wall Street media or national media cartels.
Capitalism
prepares the conditions of socialist media as market does for socialist
economy, as politics for the power of labouring classes.

It is sure;
democratization should be followed by, with, and through socialization.
People of the world should learn how to change the current content and
form of so-called "social media" and blogging into a socialist media
