THANK YOU AMERICAN READERS AND BRIEFLY AMERICA

I have never been in America. I know it via books, its famous intellectuals, writers and theorists as well as via its famous politicians, and its interventions to the world. Being a Marxist, I am always interested in America, the bastion of capitalism and liberalism. But, it is also the bastion of anti-communism, reactionary, conservative thinking. It is the society of petty-bourgeoisie ruled by an oligarchy of capitalists and politicians, or to say, "power elites" as Wright Mills had said.

America has prestigious academic institutions, research organizations, think-tanks. It is still the producer of the best weapons. However, the real symbols of its are the Wall Street, Wall Street Journal and Hollywood, that is, the totality of finance, rent, propaganda, ideology and image production.

American democracy is another so-called superiority, as much as believed by the global masses. But, it is the democracy of liberal democrats and liberal conservatives which do not meet any rivalry from different ideological lines. Hence, it is not an exaggeration to say that this democracy is less democratic than the single party systems provide.

American Democratic Revolution was completed with and after the Civil War of 1860s according to Barrington Moore. But it was just the clear domination of the industrial North East's vested interests, who exploited "free laborers" over the farmers' South exploiting slave laborers.

However, democratic revolution simply meant the liberal regime of the industrial capitalists of the north and east. This would become obvious when the 1960s came, as America was a racist country of liberal democracy. Another thing was more striking when Americans were fighting against the national liberation war of the Vietnam. They had been, however, the first fighters for independence in the modern period.

Moreover, American democracy always encouraged anti-democratic movements and did not allow other countries to complete their democratic revolutions just as it has been the center of anti-communism in any kind. Democracy at home, dictatorships abroad!

As for American economy, is it successful, it should be questioned. Crises of 1880s, 1930s and of the last four decades are directly related with it and affected not only Americans but also all world. This is big historical responsibility!

American people, like their state are highly indebted people. Both just roll over their debts. They look like the Romans. To escape their fates, they need more occupation, more control and more alliances over their free own world. Americans, today's Romans, survive through dollar and advanced weapons. Immense amount of earnings come from the rent of the sovereign right over dollar and its armored form, that is American army.

American economy has been increasingly de-industrialized in favor of further rents and interest appropriated by the Wall Street.  Its position depends on the surplus countries and other dollar reservers in the world like China, Japan, Germany, Russia, Saudi Arabia.

American economy actually depends on the productive countries and regions of the world.

Its politics depend on the monopoly rents appropriated through the seniorage right of dollar and IMF.

Its ideology, on the temporary appeal of liberalism, Hollywood, CNN or Wall Street Journal-like media.

Furthermore, American universities and research centers, which reduce science and intellectualism to research career circulates their "scientific" journals many of which belong to Americans or Anglophone world in general and their publications make American universities "best" ranked in the world.

But, above all, American power depends on its weapons and NATO alliances.

"Occupy Wall Street" actions show that Americans do not have an organized, united, theoretically conscious leftist power. I hope that those actions will be united under socialist parties and trade unions to be ready for the next global-American economic crisis.

The most powerful the American oligarchy is , the most impotent the citizens are.

This is the cost of powerful civil society, liberalism and individualism in the US.

"Neither democrats nor Republicans!" may be a slogan for the next period.
