THE US ITSELF IS A THREAT IN ITSELF

Kant said that man is a value in itself, implying that nothing can compare to it.

He also argued that democracies would not go to war as their free citizens, he assumed, would not want it.

It was this stupid theory on which liberal international relations specialists grounded their democratic peace theories for the international system.

For a century and more, the US has been both a bourgeois democratic republic and the most shameful imperialist state. Until now, it has conducted countless dirty and "illegal" wars against nearly all states and people of the world. Actually, it was not democratic even at its home even if it always championed the democratic and humanitarian values.

The US, surely, had values, but they all were placed before its "interests". It was those interests, which did not recognize any "value" in any kind.

The US goes to war for its own national interests, which it claims are also "international", as it knows that it is not only a national state, but beyond this, an international, global state. Thus it becomes logical that this national state assumes for itself an international responsibility.

When it went to war in Vietnam, Korea or Iraq, it did those wars for international peace and security, and a little bit, for its own related regional interests. Communism was a threat for itself and for the world. But, the world was only composed of its friends and their enemies.

Now, at these hours passing, it is planning a new war on Syria, but do not worry, it will do this for only peace and security of the world and the Middle East. The users of chemical weapons, who it believes and make us believe are certainly the Assad regime, should be punished.

All ones related with global politics and international law know, but the US does not want to know, that the alleged use of chemical weapons and their agents must be first investigated, interrogated and judged before international bodies and courts, or if needed, special tribunals, and, the United Nations' Security Council has to decide on whether an international armed force should be used against the criminal countries.

However, the US and its allies no longer recognizes any international legal body or authority.

It recognizes its own Congress, but not, UN and its bodies. It respects its own national bodies, but not, international law and representation.

The Secretary of State Kerry is currently in a testimony before its Congress, saying clearly that they have "national strategic interests" in the case of Syria.  And, we understand that the US is "the most national state of the nation states" in the world, and accordingly, that it does not recognize any nation state except itself. Moreover, with the mediation of Kerry's words, we understand that the US is no longer confined by international law and body and does anything whatever it wants on the base of "its national strategic interests".

Do the other countries have any national strategic interest, who cares, and the US does not!

Do the UN Security council matter? Ye it does, but only if it obeys the US and its friends' interests!

Is there any international law, a court system, negotiation procedure? Yes, but, only for the US and its friends!

If so, there is no longer an international system, no UN and its Security Council and no courts of justice.

What we have is only "the US" and the others.

So the US confesses that, it is not confined by legality, and, does not need legitimacy as well!

Only brute force and unilateral actions? Yes you can, go on, please do not hesitate! Till no one and no country obeys you!

***

The US's Syria war ultimately implies the end of the International System with its all bodies and values that were established after the second world war.

China and Russia, two members of UN SC, do not have real "veto" power to stop the imperialist-militarist aspirations of the US, France and UK for global peace and security. It is because the US has become the threat in itself for the peace and security of the other nation-states within the UN.

***

Kant was wrong from the beginning as he did not see the close relationship between bourgeois democracies and imperialism, between international system and imperialism and more substantially, between capitalism and war.

It has absolutely become clear even for all blind eyes that with the US's imperialism, global peace and security is nothing but an impossibility.

So, we all have to stop, neutralize and finally eliminate the imperialist assaults of the US and its stupid collaborators.
