Conception of evolution goes back to Greeks, i.e. Aristotle, who was also interested in sea biology, and is revived in the sixteenth century political thought. It reappears in natural science circles in the nineteenth century, with Darwin among others.
The theory of evolution in biology reveals and proves a striking fact that nature with its fauna and flora is subject to change and many of the creatures originate from their premature, primitive forms and only the most fitted to natural conditions can survive.
The reason why biological theory of evolution is so depressing underlies the two revealings that there is no need to a supra-natural creator for the existence of nature and natural beings, second, natural beings cannot have been created in their current forms. In other words, godly powers are not needed for natural existence and the genesis theory suggested by Abrahamic religions has no any scientifically rational base.
This theory has not met any rival theory in science and since developed as the foundation of life sciences. Today it is accepted that without it, 90 percent of biology collapses.
Despite its power, proof-based historical development, the theory is unfortunate as it is fanatically rejected by many religious circles. However, more intelligent parts of them try to adapt it to the genesis theory by stating that evolution is ensured by God itself. Seven days of creation, for example, is just a symbolic period, and Adam and Eve are the first homo sapiens. It is argued that God talks symbolically and science just reveals God's system.
If so, this rationalization of genesis theory should accept that, first Adam and Eve can be only a primate like being just like even a primitive form of chimpanzee. The question is the origin of Adams and Eves rather than only what happened after them.
Second problem that such a rationalization should meet is to explain why God symbolically speaks*in scientific matters whereas he gives all the details of morality and social order as well as of diet rules. Is it to encourage human beings to develop science? But, if so, why is religious faith so resistant to scientific discoveries?
These are only some critical points to start discussing the theory of biological evolution.
